Mama Mingkay update:
It’s been a week, she is not eating still. Xray showed improvement in lungs though. We gave her chance to fight. Mama Mingkay is a senior cat.
Her bill is rising up. More or less it’s on
the 5digit scale. If she survives, she will not have the quality of life. This is always the moment of holding on or letting go…The followers of animal rescue and animal welfare advocacy don’t see the frustrations, compassion fatigue, depression, helplessness, financial burden, physical and mental fatigue we all go through. They only see the determination to help, the exuberance of every succesful rescue. And that’s that. After the rescue, we are all alone left with the surmounting vet bill and the burden of caring the patient until rehabilitated.
