ARRF-DAVAO wishes to express our unwavering support and solidarity with Happy Animals Club, a vital shelter and sanctuary for stray and abandoned animals in our community. It has come to our attention that the City Government has issued an order for the closure of this remarkable institution.
Happy Animals Club has been a beacon of hope for countless animals, providing them with love, care, and a second chance at life. Its dedicated staff and volunteers have worked tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need, while also promoting responsible pet ownership and advocating for better animal welfare standards in our city.
We believe that the closure of Happy Animals Club would not only be a loss for the animals but also for the entire community. It is our sincere hope that the City Government and HAC can come together to seek solutions that benefit all parties involved. We firmly believe that a collaborative approach can lead to a win-win situation, ensuring the continued operation of the shelter and addressing any concerns raised by the City Government.
We call upon all stakeholders to engage in open and constructive dialogue, with the best interests of the animals and the community in mind. Let us work together to find a resolution that preserves the important work of HAC and enhances the quality of life for animals in our city.
We kindly request that the City Government reconsider its decision and explore alternative options that will allow HAC to continue its invaluable service. Our community, and the voiceless animals it serves, are depending on our collective efforts to find a compassionate and sustainable solution.
