Meet Yin2x and Yang2x
When you look at them, they may seem healthy. Cats are also super skilled in hiding their illnesses. But they are part of our “Special Needs” rescues.
Both Yin2x and Yang2x are FIV
positive. FIV is similar to HIV (human immunodeficiency virus, the cause of AIDS in people) in that it attacks and weakens the immune system and there is no cure. They also have struvite crystals in their urine, and that’s why they have a prescribed diet.Through our Pet Lifeline Program, we are looking for donors who would like to support Yin2x and Yang2x. They are only two of several rescues that have more requirements to keep them healthy.
